The city recently approved a nearly $60 million downtown development by Atlantic Housing Partners that is expected to include 120 apartments plus commercial space.
🛍️ New retail development around Osceola County
Developers are also proposing a retail project featuring Portillo’s, Dutch Bros and an oil-change business in one of Osceola County’s rapidly growing areas.
KB Home has opened Canoe Creek Reserve, a new subdivision planned for 700+ homes.
And Osceola County is considering a $156 million project to widen approximately four miles of Canoe Creek Road from two lanes to four lanes, because traffic is expected to increase substantially with development.

🍗 Bojangles Is Coming Back to St. Cloud!
St. Cloud, Florida — Chicken-and-biscuit fans have something to look forward to! Bojangles is coming back to St. Cloud, with a new location planned for 4490 13th Street, near U.S. 192 and Walmart.
The new restaurant is currently under construction and is expected to open soon. An official opening date has not yet been announced, but construction progress is giving local residents plenty of reasons to start getting excited.
Bojangles is best known for its Southern-style fried chicken, scratch-made buttermilk biscuits, breakfast favorites, seasoned fries, sides and its famous Legendary Iced Tea.
A Familiar Name Returns
This isn’t Bojangles’ first time in St. Cloud. The restaurant previously operated at 4100 13th Street, opening there in 2011. Now, more than a decade later, the popular chicken-and-biscuit chain is returning to the community with a new location.
The new restaurant adds another recognizable name to St. Cloud’s rapidly growing dining scene and gives residents another option for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
When Will It Open?
As of August 25, 2026, Bojangles has not announced an official opening date for the new St. Cloud location.
We’ll be watching the construction and will update Experience Saint Cloud as soon as an opening date is confirmed.
